Welcome to Adventure

Kandu embarked on an amazing journey sailing around the world, chronicalled in their blog, Rigneyskandu.com .

Setting off in February 2015 from California, this 42-ft. sailboat served as home for a family of four as they explored a great big wonderful planet, touching 6 continents, crossing 3 oceans, transiting 3 canals, and visiting 41 countries. Their adventures aboard Kandu included meeting extraordinary people and animals, volunteering and delivering needed supplies to remote communities, and facilitating international cultural exchanges. They visited diverse places such as the Galapagos, Bora Bora, Fiji, Vanuatu, Australia, various parts of Indonesia including Komodo National Park where they encountered Komodo dragons, water buffalo, and monkeys, Singapore, India, Gibraltar, and Morocco, even crossing the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea. Having successfully circumnavigated the globe, as evidenced by its completion and return home, Kandu is a testament to its capability and reliability for long-distance ocean cruising. It facilitated a transformative adventure that resulted in its crew returning home with “entirely new perspectives”, showcasing its potential to be the key to your own incredible global explorations and adventures.
